For his new alter ego project, Mogul Da Savant, Devonte Lemonte was adamant about using his new character as a vehicle for discussing heated topics around race, classism, and current world events greatly impacting people of the African diaspora. And of course, a matter of fact tone with tasteful musicality and a modern bravado. ‍

Solution‍

A one-shot DIY music video produced by Mogul and directed by Anna V. The video is a middle finger to artists proclaiming that they need big music video budgets to get their ideas out in front of the masses.  ‍

Result‍

The video was released in incognito mode with the intention of fans discovering the song retroactively after discovering the major release Otra Vez. It will show the trajectory of going from DIY music video to a full production.
